The LE-CPU16 converts the images from 16 different cameras to digital images that are then stored using Wavelet, MJPEG, or MPEG4 compression. Once the images are stored, you can easily search incidents by date, time, or camera - no more rewinding or fast-forwarding to look for an incident! With built-in video motion detection, there is also no dead time recorded. This not only saves time and storage space, but also saves on maintenance because the digital VCR operates with a limited number of moving parts. First Witness's DVR system is also available in 12-camera ,8-camera and 4-camera systems for smaller applications.
